The plantations are comprised of two areas. Approximately 15 klms apart in a strait line and 35 klms of 'lower standard' shire road.
Middle Logging Area is approx. 23 hectares in area and is 15 klms west of the Maidenwell. Much of the hoop pine has been written of for commercial use due to poor location and growth.
West Barker Logging Area is approx. 80 hectares and is 22 klms south west of Kumbia. This area is surrounded by microphyll/notophyll rainforest and understorey development is good in places.
These maps show the location or each section of area to be logged. As usual - the detail in maps is very poor and does not show the true area, topography, landscape, waterways and road access.
